The MSCI in November changed the rules they said well if you merge with a company that's not an index constituent it's not already in the index then I'm going to assume it's in the index. Now HDFC Bank is strange because it is actually owned by HDFC which has about 24% 25% of the company and the remaining is owned by other investors most of whom are FISMost of whom are foreign investors including the ADR that is listed in the US around one croreshires or 10 croreshires there. So when you merge these two entities actually the resulting HDFC Bank will have only 61% FIS ownership with a 74% availability meaning 18% foreign
