"Product market fit" is a term used in product management to describe what it means to have the right positioning. "I really hated this concept of product market fit because, you know, there's this whole idea, it's feeling, whatever," he says. The way marketing works when we're an early stage startup: We can't smash our foot on the gas as we don't know how. But I do know how to get to an actionable segmentation right, which is basically tight positioning and winning with great leads.
