Uro Jung, Book Review - Chinese Gramatology

Uro jung's new book, chinese gramatology, is about the script revolution in china. For most of the first half of the twentieth century, reformers waged war on the ese script and tried to implement a chinese alphabet instead. i became interested while doing my undergraduate thesis, in the question of baroi. A literal translation of barois would be plain speech, though some people would translate it as the vernacular. I hope that you enjoy the conversation that follows.
