I didn't know how it was going to come back when I was writing the book, so I thought it's got to surprise me first. Have you always been fascinated by magic yourself? No, not at all. The fabulous thing about that is that he makes it disappear and it doesn’t come back. Which really is a good trick. Yeah, it is pretty good. It doesn't come back for like 200 pages when they figure it out. What people ask a magician is, how did you do that? So it's like that admission that we don't know something. I think that's the beginning of wonder. That the charm of it bringing you back together. And
