Am, i suppose what im trying to do is to get to the point of arguing that i don't think there is any such thing as a pure documentary photograph. So you can't separate the two in practice, but unalitted thogh, you can. Just photographs allow us to identify musicians, to identify where they are, to identify the context in which they 're playing. We see just musicians in studios from photographs taken in studios,. and that allows us to understand the differences in the audioput.
