The Importance of Channels in Marketing
The channels interact, if you think about how we make buying decisions. You start with some research and you go, who's my target audience? What channels do they use? That's a good starting point. And that's where the attribution model goes. We used to look at multi-channel funnels. We now, under GA4, is under advertising. I really wish they changed that to attribution. No reason for it to be called advertising, other if you Google's trying to sell you advertising and attributing value to it.
