A big part of how you talk about holding on to that in the book is through prayer. The worst thing that can be written over a pastor's life, or a christian's life, is you had not because you ask not. And we have to get away from that american concept of a bob and mary, in your walk with the lord every day. That's going to get us nowhere. We got to get back to not fanaticism, not emotionalism,. Not to people like caricatic excesses and barking dogs and all that nonsense.
