When I'm writing a non-human animal character I like to think about what it would feel like to be a person hanging out with homo sapiens. and you know it's you kind of get the sense that everyone understands Lassie so to write these characters I often would think about when I'm writing them. "For me the fun of it was imagining people in different kinds of bodies"
