The Bitch Credit Down Rating

A poll last week found that 50% of Americans don't believe Donald Trump even has classified documents. The kinds of things that Trump is saying, I think, are designed to get his most ardent supporters so agitated they're not going to be content to cast a vote for him. If America's credit rating continues to slide and we go to real sustained high interest rates for a long time, the financial dislocations and upheavals that will be caused by that could make our current politics seem fairly stayed and reserved. Or it could focus the mind and the make it Americans to get their act together, go either way.
