Value is a way of looking at the world through a hierarchy of value. It's like our eyes have evolved the whites to make it much easier for us to see where people are pointing. And so that if i can see what you're looking at, then i know what you're interested in,. So when i say value structure, i mean a decision about the hierarchy of importance - both economically and evolutionarily.
