The Fall in Redeeming
Christianity borrowed elements of the hermetic reading of life, particularly in its use of the phalix colpa, the fortunate crime or the fortunate sin. The central idea of the fall is that through what appears to be a catastrophe, we attain a higher state of being. We recognize a greater gift than we could have had we not fallen in the first place. So, A lethea is the opposite of forgetting. It's more than a disclosure or a revelation. It's a deep reaching remembering.
