Is There a Faster Way to Learn Go Patterns Than Just Playing a Lot of Games?

There's this great proverb from in Go, the game of Go, which is lose your first 100 games as quickly as possible. I've started to think like if you're a beginner to the game of like go or say chess maybe like play with a clock. It's good to just like make that mistake 10 times quickly because then you will see the mistake before you make it.
