The Pros and Cons of Building on Platforms

i think there's a lot of baggage that comes from the apple ecosystem 15 years ago, where it was a one time purchase for a dollar 99 and now you have lifetime access to that ap. There are some real truths that i think creators have to go into building on top of a platformand just be very clear eyed about those risks. Being a part of an ecosystem gives you a kind of life built in friend founder network,. So i'm a very much pro platform building as long as it's done and net with clear expectations and good opportunity.
