O Allah, I Wish to Test Him

A Jewish man came to the Prophet Salaam asking for wealth, camels and horses. Allah granted this man his requests but then said he wanted to test him. So when these blessings were taken away from him soon after, guess what? The man left Islam. This is a common category in humanity: those who turn to Allah during times of ease, and they ignore him during times of hardship. A spouse who remains faithful so long as their spouse's unfaithfulness appears will show vengeance against them if it happens. If her marriage ends in divorce, however, she'll cast aside all religious life; hijab becomes no more.
