Introduction

In chinese, there is a word called jo, which is an umbrella term for all sorts of alcohol. When we talk about wine in english or european language, i think people would automatically associate that with grape wine made from grapes. But when i talk about j in the more historical context, it could mean rice wine. It could even mean distilled alcohol, you know, more like brandy or whis thing genly. In recent years, i've found that the the word wine in english has also started to broade now. You go to wine festivals, you have cider being represented.
