The Importance of Religious Credentials in the Islamic State

The Islamic State has command and control hubs around the world, these regional offices. Most of the interaction with quote unquote, I, a central or I, S, core is coming from those guys. The rank and file in Al Qaeda West Africa swears allegiance to its local Amir and they're trusting them to trust the central leadership. That's how that works.
