The issue is that we are in the most rapacious era of capital in the last hundred years. The art world is like, you know, at the zenith of that pyramid. But this whack-a-mole approach, it's been pretty disastrous. I feel like you're treating the symptom and not the cause. Unless you can magically realign wages and productivity and remove alienation from American life then these problems are just going to continue to reproduce themselves.
