What Is MaleDefaultness and Speech?

I was I was so fascinated and sort of horrified, but also inspired to learn about all the ways that gender and gender stereotypes are lurking beneath the surface of our language. Everything from how we use gendered insults and how they're such a such a more robust wealth of insults for women or referencing femininity in English than there are for men. And it was really cool to learn about how so many judgments, not only of women's speech, but of the speech of so many marginalized communities, have so little to do with the speech itself at the end of the day. But yeah, I guess you asked me to talk about myself and then I just didn't you talking about linguistics.
