Average country in our sample is still having about 18% of current emissions at mid-century, at net zero 2050. If you extrapolate from that, you're looking at double-digit gigaton CDR infrastructure to compensate for that level of residual emissions. We think that's pretty important and deserves a lot more thought than it's currently getting. Will: There isn't much of a legal framework to establish this differentiation or to push us to maximally reduce emissions.
