The Importance of Religion in Gender Roles
Both sides take what they believe to be true. And then they import religious or philosophical language to support it. We are far more likely to create systems and gods of our own image than we are to receive from something, you know, bigger than us. There's a lot of anxiety that is gone when these gender rules are clearly defined and reinforced consistently across cultural bounds. It's like there's, I worry about it anymore.
