We're Not Getting the Bang for Your Buck on Public Schools
Sally Kohn: Public schools are supposed to be part of our daily lives and preparing kids for a good productive future. But she says they haven't tended to produce at least based on standardized test scores, which are a very limited way to look at schools and education. She says the real way we're going to measure how a public school is performing is how many students go to college.Kohn: We've not seen any sort of meaningful improvement in the aggregate for those kind of final products - high school seniors.
