The first examples of artificial intelligence being used were based on trying to solve games. And so you saw people who were training machines and eventually computers to play checkers and TikTok. You saw people trying to create machines that would fool humans into thinking that they were humans, things like the Eliza chatbot. All in an effort to pass what is now known as the Turing test proposed by Alan Turing.
