The Beetles - A Live Performance by John and Paul Lenon
The two rules that the r world t v broadcast had were that everything had to be live, rather than pre recorded. No politicians could be shown on screen to stop any country from turning the event into propaganda. And of course, in what some have seen as the british just showing off, there was a performance by the beetles recording their necks single. The track also required backing vocals and other instruments thicken the sound. So 11 days before the broadcast, they went into olympic studios for an initial session with a watherad instrumental line up.
