When we eat food, we are eating pieces of dirt that have been transformed into food for us to eat. And the world, as connected, is related to god through us. When you're transfigured at the end, all those things will be too. So history is the growth of god's daughter into a bride for his son. He does it with each of us individually, but he's doing it with the race as a whole.
