The Cucutani Trippilia Culture
A new culture, one rooted in old Europe but with more input from the steppe came into existence. Archaeologists call it the Cucutani Trippilia or Tribolie culture. It was this new and creative arrangement that led to the megasites. The huge and unprecedented agglomerations of hundreds of houses and thousands of people were built around 4000 BC.
