Is It in Your Best Interest to Exaggerate Misdeeds?
If you perceive someone as a threat, it's in your best interest to exaggerate their misdeeds. If we can all collectively agree that that's something bad, then I think there is a sort of, there's a bonding experience there. And so if I say this person said bad thing and it puts us all at risk and out of 10 people, seven of them are on my side, but three of them are like, well, I'm not so sure that was so bad. Now those are the next people to be on the chopping board.
