The Future of Air Berlin
Air Berlin was supposed to be a Lufthansa competitor that's going to be based at this new airport. Instead, the fire alarm system essentially melted down in a simulated fire. The smoke evacuation system neither sucked out smoke nor replaced it with fresh air. It turns out that the smoke was designed by an Italian guy pretending to be an engineer. And when I had a ticket into Berlin Tagle in September 2012, I had no one to tell me about these problems.
