Erman has received letters from all over the world for his new book. He's been told that some of them have even been used by teachers to teach their children about letter writing. Erman says he writes 'far too many and not enough' letters, which puts him off people who want to talk to him. But one of the joys of making these books is being put in touch with those who wrote the letters or are somehow connected to it.
