The Role Play of Hypnosis

Some people who enjoy like intoxication play or the idea of controlling someone can essentially role play that you are hypnotizing someone and just basically both of you pretend. And also, there's kind of a thing where like, if you just keep thinking, I'm pretending to be in trance, what would it be like to pretend to be in Trance? Sometimes you're like, whoops, I am actually in trance now. So like, no, I see all of the ways the tools of hypnosis can play into what I want to do. I've just never been drawn to it because the story of hypnosis is not one that I was ever particularly drawn to.
