Algarithmic Scheduling in the Workplace
The platform worker's directive aims to regulate the algoritmic management at the u level. Algarithmic management isn't just confined to platform work any more, it is emerging in traditional sectors of employment as well. The european commissions proposal to improve the working conditions of platform workers has as a main aim actually to insure that platform workers are granted the legal employment status that corresponds to their actual work arrangements.

Artificial intelligence and automation are increasing in role, and no industry is immune. From doctors to gig workers, advances in AI are becoming a key determinant of job quality. This week on The Sound of Economics, Giuseppe Porcaro is joined by Laura Nurski and Mia Hoffmann, to discuss how technology affects work, whether good or bad, and what should we take into consideration for the future?
