Second structural shift is robotization and automation. That's occurring throughout the world. In the us, maybe people can upgrade into more productive opportunities. But in the global south, like india and bangladesh, those garment factories have always been condemned as terrible. As er factory work becomes increasingly automated, that will reduce the demand for labor.
