Jesus' Mission Is to Proclaim and Establish the Gospel of God in the Fullness of Time
Jesus doesn't give himself over to the crowd, but often retreats from them and moves on. By refusing to give himself to any particular town, Jesus protects his ministry from such distortion. There's a real danger of becoming a movement defined by a particular region or town,. God's proclamation of his kingdom in the fullness of time is not limited by locality.
