The Rise of Skepticism

Sanjaya's policy wasn't just saying no, but to disavow even such naysang. Three great critical thinkers of this and later periods are Nagarjuna, the 9th century thinker Jayarashi, and in the 12th century Sri Harsha. All three used skeptical arguments against an idea cherished by other thinkers of their times that we can not only know things, but also know that we know those things.
