J powell officially came out and said that he thinks a fed issue digital dollar will negate the need for any other types of crypto currencies. The working group also said that they expect to issue recommendations in the coming months. Some people are claiming that they could target stable coins like tether, but tether is trying to preempt this by stating that it will be doing a full audit.
