Sasha: There's this thin veneer, this thin layer that sits on top of the language and also the libraries. What was it about the language features that said, Hey, this might be worth leaving Erlang? I mean, at least on the surface syntactically, this may be worth absorbing this new ecosystem and language. Sasha: One of my favorite things is the fact that Elixir standardizes own variables which are very controversial from the standpoint of programmers.
