The Republican Party's Role in the Election of Donald Trump
You don't necessarily need to play his speech in which he denigrates Muslims and purports to justify what he's doing. What might be helpful is to talk about how this matches other types of leaders in other countries or in other eras who have proposed these sorts of things, you can cover all of those things in a substantive way. You know, I can't imagine a world where Trump actually gained support by virtue of being federally indicted. And so the Republican party abdicating its role and saying we are totally neutral among all the candidates doesn't make sense.
