Is There a Future Energy Technology?
All of the technologies needed exist now. There's no revolutions in science that are needed to make this work. If you had one, a few kilometers across, it could potentially deliver to gigawatts onto the grid - which is the same as a typical nuclear power station. But if things are inefficient, you've got to make a bigger satellite and that again makes it more expensive. So there's work to do, but I think given enough funding these things are solvable.
