NHS Staffing Data - Safe and Sound
Nathan Gower has returned to Safe and Sound with his findings on NHS staffing. The commonly quoted consensus is for total staff vacancies of around 133,000 in England. All the figures I'm going to discuss are full-time equivalent but they've been adjusted to account for staff working part-time. Before we get too far into the weeds, we need to give a bit of a health warning: NHS jobs data is not the most reliable.
