A new report co-authored by Goldman Sachs and EY explains how companies are leaning into corporate separations. More than 30 global separations were announced in 2022 alone. A corporate separation does not require a counterparty, unlike traditional forms of M&A. It is agnostic and not dependent on capital market conditions that exist at the time.
