The Importance of De-Coupling
It was never going to be possible to cut China out of European supply chains. Europe always realized that regardless of where you stand on a hook or dove scale for China. There is a pragmatic acceptance that de-coupling does not work. In the UK, in the UK, it's much more about critical supply chains. At the moment, there's an argument over semiconductors and batteries for electric cars.
