The Science of Retrieval

When students are in discussion they're actually retrieving a bunch of different types of skills as well as the content knowledge. As part of that conversation with their peers they've developed new new understandings or they've firmed in on their answer. If you don't give them the correct answer at that point they will remember the wrong answer so that's why it's really important and if you're asking questions that don't have a right answer then you want to try to give explanatory feedback.
