The trait of high sensitivity in particular, has been studied for over 30 years. The original researcher who discovered it, doctor elaine aron, found that it was a biological, an evolutionary trait that evolved because it kept a certain amount of people in the group safe. And they have found that this trait of high sensitive exists in over a hundred different species. So everything from dogs to insects can be highly sensitive. There's a basis for this in, is it biology or neuro science, as world that's being discovered.
