What Is the Universe Made Out Of?

At the most fundamental level, we still don't really understand the basic rules of physics. We're not quite sure where gravity falls and whether it fits with quantum mechanical theory or whether it works with the universe. And it's important because it has to do with one of the most basic questions in physics: What is the universe made out of?
