Armon: I think that the back lash against the criminal justice system in New York was pretty organic, broadly popular. Armon: If you actually do jail people, that's where they end up. And if these people are out just functionally, they have time to commit more crimes. In most cases, mit might end up being one of those things, right? armon: It seems like extremely undemocratic and barbaric right to deprive someone of their freedom on suspicion of committing a crime before they've been convicted or sentenced.
