Bird or No, the Nürge Set Off From Svalbard

The Nürge set off from Svalbard, carrying a 16 man crew and a small dog. They sailed overhead of 90 degrees North on the 12th of May, 1926. The expedition dropped three flags as they crossed the North Pole. A serious disagreement broke out because no Ballet had brought along an Italian flag. It caused much consternation amongst everyone on board. But what a power move from no Ballet.
