Homeless in Ukraine?
The earliest people that came from Ukraine and were sponsored to stay in people's homes are coming to the end of their six month period. The householders were given £350 a month to care for them. There are two problems now happening. One, some people could only really provide the accommodation for six months. Perhaps they've got other people that lead to living it or whatever. So there are people who are now becoming homeless. And secondly, they're just now removing that £350. Even if you're able to carry on having a Ukrainian family in your home, after six months, you lose the payment,. I don't think that's sustainable. Richard Harrington, the former minister for refugees
