Carson: VIX levels currently, also in a historical context and into an inflationary environment over the next five, 10 years, seems unusually low. He says we are likely to see more events and more short-term activity while still over longer time periods, seeing decreased compression of all,. but risk premium itself will increase as well. Carson: We're heading towards the more dangerous, the deep end in that piece again; there's still long term possibilities for crises. But I know there's a dying-vall place where it's like 'I don't think this is going to happen,' he says.
