Is Time Flowing Backwards in Quantum Physics?

If we allowed for course and effect to flow backwards, at least in the quantum realm, the future literally influencing the past, quantum mechanics could be both real and local. It's a bit like picking your poison, do you prefer that nature is random and seemingly unreal or do you prefer time flowing backwards? But how could we even begin to make sense of time flowing back? I mean, there's two different ways people think about this idea of retro-causality and influences backwards in time.
