In consciousness, we rust the cognitive nero science of subjective experience. Lowe's new book is aimed at workers and students in the field of consciousness research. He proposes what he calls the perceptual reality monitoring theory. To be perfectly honest, i did not find his argument persuasive. But my biggest problem with lowell's approach is that it fail to explain the qualitative nature of conscious experience.
