Richard Clark and James Churchill

James churchill had spent the majority of his life in a mental health facility due to his intellectual and physical disabilities. At age 31, james was deemed safe to reenter society and was released from hospital in june 19 81. James stopped collecting his social security checks when a concerned nurse carried out a welfare check at his lost known address,. It was discovered that james had vanished without a trace. Two years later, his skeletal remains were found buried along the mississippi river. An entire skeleton was soon excavated from the river bed dressed in fragments of a light colored shirt, a red jacket and denham jeans. A pair of socks and shoes were also uncovered close by.
